Well Im glad you mentioned that Kenny. I am going that particular day. Husker harvest days near Grand island is Nebraskas annual farm show. Pretty big event for the farm folks an others interested in farming. To bad we cant meet up there but with all the people probably not. I will be there Wensday. When you will arrive at the show. I assume you will be coming by bus.

i gotta go for a grade, but the good thing for timing is that we have to drive ourselves...kinda sucks for gas prices but o well
Pat, if u've never been too it, like 150 says it's a big farm expo near GI every year in Sept. u'll c alot of rancher oriented shows, seed dealers, grain storage, irrigation, implement dealers, and best of all, truck dealers including Ford (great chance to talk salesmen into good deals for new wheels too)! there's so much there to see that u can easily spend a day or more walkin around. Usually they'll have a retired husker there to sign autographs and stuff too.
like i said tho, it's really short notice so i won't be surprised if many ppl r going to show up, especially on that specific of a date.
so what time of the day do u think u'll b there 150?

we'll prob get there sometime in the morning, i'm not for sure yet, me and some friends r probably gonna carpool but we'll probably spent the greater part of the day out there. probably best if those of us that can make it there (looks like just u and me for now) meet up at the ford tent?

Well wouldnt you know it. Got to Husker Harvest days on Wed walking to the site an guess who i met out off the blue. Yup Kenny The Snowman. I didnt plan to meet up or anything. We just happen to be walking to the site on the same road at the same time. Got to talking with him an told me he was in Hastings going to college an then I asked him what he was driving he said 1981 F 150. I figured it out pretty quick. We visted a bit before we went our seperate ways. hey just to let you know it was real nice visiting with you Kenny. It made my day. Hope your day went well.

ha! i still gotta laugh about that a little, like we were sayin, what were the odds of that happening?? i should've caught on a little sooner, seeing that ford hat and everything lol. did u buy anything yesterday? i got me a set of mud star (least i think that the name of them, can't rightly remember) 33 x 12.5 x r15 for the 81. gave $120 a piece for them which ain't bad compared to the coopers...the salesman kept tellin me those were on special pricing, Discoverer ST's for $165 and STT's for $178...i could get them back in columbus for $172 regular pricing thru bills tire!
hopefully we can remember this is going on a little sooner next year and possibly get something going for a g2g. and maybe get Pat introduced to the wonder that is Husker Harvest Days!

Yeh I didnt get a chance to make it to your tent. I should have followed Kenny there so I could meet you. Were you walking out an looking at the other exhibits. I thought might have glanced an seen you for just a second. I remember the pic off you in your gallery.. Its also ironic that Kenny was parked a row behind me in K2. If i remembered right. I was in J2. Boy the crowd was huge. Like I said the odds were against us meeting up like that were not good. Im glad it worked out. Next time we will meet up Jake. Thats my fault. I was going to go to your tent but didnt get there. Great price for the tires Kenny. Im glad you got some for your truck. Tires are extremely high priced as off late. You did great there.Yah I bought a couple things for around the farm. They just had about everything you need.

Ok Im up for a meet. How about it guys. Ive met some off you but would like to meet others as well. This weather is to nice. The days are counting down to cold nasty weather. So lets set a time an place an do it. Pat how about it. Jake,Kenny what do you think guys. Maybe we could meet in Grand Island or Kearney. That would be a nice central location. Or maybe as suggested before a nebraska football game. I could bring some food or something to help out with it. Others could to. The main thing is not just talk about it but to agree on setting a date. Anything works for me. Ill make it work.
