That would b worth a lot to a Pantera owner. It would be worth several hundred to someone who wanted to do an AOD tranny conversion, because that adapter plate is not cheap.
I'd give you a couple of hundred, and I don't have any use for it.
BTW, I am looking for the C6 plate that sits behind a 335 series motor, where the starter mounts. This is for the Cleveland headed 408 that I am building. I don't have any use for that either.
Yes it was that reason and that and any kit adds too much to the drive line. I dont want to add anymore more stress on the pinion. and the fact that I may be the only one rolling 400fmx in a bb bronco XD
??
But I thought the AOD was about 3" shorter than a C6. The plate only adds an inch or so, so you wouldn't be adding any overall length to the drive train, you'd be shortening it.
Here are some pics of my FMX block. BTW, on the last pic, take a look at the flat pad just below and to the right of the oil pressure sending unit port; my block has a number stamped into that pad. Can you look at you block and tell me what number you have stamped into your block on that same pad? Every FMX block I have seen has has some number stamped there and none are the same. I'm trying to figure out what that matches up to.....I don't think it is part of a VIN but I could be wrong. Let me know when you get a chance to look. Thanks and let us know how the motor runs.
Wow nothing but good stuff you got there 73XAfFalcon. Looks like Mad Max's pimp mobile. Do uou have a part# for the valve covers?
Valve covers are old Ford Motorsport stabilizer valve covers. These haven't been sold for over 20 years. These pop up on E-Bay every now and then but I've seen those sell for close to $1K for a complete set. When you get a chance, can you take a look at that pad next to the oil sending unit and see if there is a number stamped there on your motor?
March Style Track. Mine was one of the first 351C kits they sold and so far I'm the only one they know of that was installed on a 400. It fit the 400 just fine without any mods.
