brake set ups

Hi guys, been very busy, about to fit brake system, anyone have any diagrams, to work to , i have disc front drum rear, dual m/c & booster , also adjustable prop/valve & 2lb check valve, i have looked on cpp site , where i have had the m/c booster from, they have 2 set ups but still not to clear which one to use, any help appreiciated, cheers Kev, still raining ! uk.

what year truck?

under the floor or on the firewall booster?

disc/drum, got it.

prop valve, got it.

ok, sorry, didn't check your gallery first..

I'm not quite sure what you are looking for at the moment..

you have a master cyl for disc/drum and booster.

so, If the master is disc/drum, you should have the residual valve built in..

but if not, then

the single line to the back, prop valve, then residual valve, to rear brakes

on the front, one line to each wheel. some masters have dual fittings for the lines, some don't.

cheers , how to check if residual valve fitted , will ask bobs f100 who supplied it to me, they sent me the m/c booster, & prop/valve & residual valve, so maybe does not have one fitted in m/c, Kev. will try to put some pics on soon.

As long as you are keeping the m\c and booster on the firewall, you don't need the 2lb residual valve for the front disc brakes. The 2lb residual valve is only required to prevent the brake fluid from draining back to the m\c when it is located in the stock location (under the floor boards) where it is at the same level and sometimes even lower than the calipers.
