Three miles from our house is a FE guys dream.
They have three Cobra kits in production, one with a Blown 427 SOHC engine, Mustangs with FE, 5.4 dual cam, and 4.6 engines. They have all the machines to make Cobra bodies and frames. Phillip, the owner says for me to sell him my 427 side oiler and he would cut me a deal on a Cobra kit car. They do ground up restorations, and have three huge buildings, one of which has his paint booth along with fiberglass molds. I will go back and take my camera and show some pictures. He has many aluminum blocks. He said that one of his engines is the first 429 Boss engine ever made from Ford. "experimental engine" . I asked him if he gives out bibs to customers looking at all his cars and engines. LOL..
They do ground up restorations and hot rods. I have not seen so many exotic parts since I got a tour in Jack Roush's shop.
Max I'd love to see some pics of the blown cammer in the Cobra. Do these guys have a website?? And what are the frames like? Tube or square? Well if he's going to give you a nice deal on cashing in the 427 you can always buy a aftermarket Genesis or Pond block. While they don't have the old world charm of an original block they are VERY nicely done and very beefy. Or step up to the King Daddy and buy a Shelby block. Anyway sounds like a pretty cool place to visit and some pics would be nice to see. And it's nice to deal with someone local you know. Is this a DIY kit or a built painted roller? What rear end are they setup for?

I will be going over there tomorrow to take some pictures. The frames are square construction. Depending on your pocket book, you can buy a diy or a completed Cobra Kit Car. They do first class work, and they are very nice people. I did not ask him about the different rear ends he installs, but what I saw were 9 in Ford and trick Independent suspensions. He has some front and rear suspensions that are very high tech.
Cool stuff Lloyd !!! To rich for my blood tho..But ya when ya get some time posts some pics...I know one guy on this site that would give his left Kahona for another Cobra...

Ok,, the drool factor is pretty high around the blown 427 SOHC.
Wow nice toys!!! They do some really nice work. Cobra is just wicked looking with that cammer!! That's a good looking body too. Parting lines and panel alignment also very nice. That's half the battle with glass bodys. Looks like a nice place to spend some cash. I'm not a big fan of green paint but that 70 Mach looks pretty slick.
