Overhead computer

I just got a new overhead computer and it has three modes on it: MPG , Miles to empty, and Temp. The temp shows -40 all the time and I was wondering if the computer could be programed to show the correct temp up top? Does anyone have any ideas. Our X is a 2003 limited with a v-10.

I checked with Ford and he said that there is not a difference between the computer for a gasser or diesel.

After driving from Boston to San Diego, it sure is nice seeing the Lie O Meter back in operation though. We really just use the compass more than anything.

On another note, it is truly amazing the difference in gas prices from state to state. We paid anyware from 3.89 to 4.69 from regular at Costco's in the last week.

Thanks, Bryan

Only thing I can think of is a bad ambient air temp sensor. Although a complete battery disconnect may help...

I agree with you on the varying gas prices! Love the Southwest.

Hey Ken, you enjoying your cross country trip? I don't think it is the sensor since the ext. temp on the a/c controls works just fine?

Thanks, Bryan
