I am wanting to go up a few sizes with the tires, and add a lift, but tires are the question at hand. I know i should put on load range E tires (we pull a camper) but when looking at the load ratings of some of the tires the range D is higher than the E of a smaller size...
So basically my question is will a load range D tire of larger size and higher load rating than a smaller range E tire be safe.
Thats what I do...... load range D tires.....with a 6 inch lift... Pro Comps have 325 tires that have 3400 lb tires.......There is a photo in my gallery
That is a nice setup i like the 6" lol wife will only ok the 4", but gonna put 250 springs and blocks with the 4".
What is the minimum capacity i need to look for? I would like to keep stock rims 16" limited, is a 315 gonna be too big?
Hey there. Personally and speaking from my experiance I have the 315 tires on 16's and the 6 inch lift works..... only rub when i make HARD lock to lock turns Very slight run on the springs,,, The BFG AT is a 315 tire that measures 33.5 high when sitting there....
