I've having a awful time trying to get water stains out of my seats....I can't believe any fabric would stain as easy as it does........but it happens. I've tried many many products with not much luck. I've been trying the Blue Coral cleaner but you can still see them even after doing the same stain 2 or 3 times. Any suggestions????
I put a towel over the seat if there's any chance of them getting dirty. I would never get light colored seats in a truck, mine are black and beautiful!
I'm sure that if you went to a professional detailer they would have commercial cleaners that would work. Once that happens, put a towel or seatcovers on the seat!
I used a carpet and upholstery cleaner that came with a carpet shampooer. I used a brush on the stains and they came out. Do an entire panel rather than trying to clean a spot, and rinse a couple of times with lots of water and a shop-vac.
The link below shows the product I use, which sometimes takes a 2nd cleaning to get the stain completely out, but no stains in my '06. Now make sure to vaccuum the area really well 1st, to remove any loose dirty/grime.

had a friend that worked at a detail shop and what they used was windex clear (for use on tinted windows) claims it works better then any and all supposed fabric cleaners. I have used it a time or to and it does work.
Haven't tried that, but that Magic Eraser works wonders. Amazing the stuff it will remove.
Just be a little careful where you use it. I was removing the bugs from the hood of my truck one day and decided to read the instructions. It was very clear that they are not to be used on painted surfaces. No harm done but I may have just been lucky.

Yeah, don't think I'd use it on painted items, I'm always worried about any chemical on my auto paint. I'll try this next time I do get a stain and reply with my results.
Turtle Wax - Power Out! Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner
Blue Coral
Have used both and water stain will come back needs more than 1 cleaning it sucks
that water will mess up the seat
have a couple of tan towels in truck if it rains or snows will cover all of driver seat passenger sat if someone is with me
there beach towels and I fold one in 1/2 and always have it on driver seat working ok
Ok, I'm just curious now....has anyone had a vehicle that has stained easier then these trucks do? It's really my only gripe about my '06. I got caught parked in a t-storm with my windowns down once, enough water to make me want to cry....but i knew if I did the tears would only stain the seats more...lol
I had a leaky cooler leave a water stain on my 05. havent tried the Blue Coral yet, but I have taken some nasty stains out of the house carpet with that Oxy Clean stuff. (Last one was a week old Coke stain). Soaked it 10 min and it completely disappeared. The stain on my truck seat appeared even tho it had been treated with Scotchguard.
