horn ring attachment
hi i am after a horn ring plastic retainer that connects the horn ring to the steering wheel on my 1965 F250 my 3 prongs have broken off does anyone know who does a repair kit there is probally springs missing has well,

The horn ring retainer is available from all the usual sources (Carpenter, Flashback F100s, Carolina Classics). There is one large spring in the center of the wheel and then a small trigger spring that goes in the little hole int he wheel. Those two items are probably only available used. I'm not aware of a 'kit'.

Note: There are two different springs, they look similar, but the one for the horn button is different!

Just a suggestion, may want to pick up an extra 'horn contact brush', it consist of a spring and carbon head that insert into steering wheel, don't make them like they use to. Item #10 in LMC catalog, posting link for pic's of assembly only, looks like Numbers and ddavidv listed few sources.

FTE sponsors and lmc are selling AFAIK, the original Ford kit, the same one I listed the part number for (C2OZ13A821A).
There are dozens upon dozens of Ford dealers that still have stock, along with greensalescompany.
Closest Ford dealer to Santa Cruz Mtns that has stock are Henry Curtis Ford in Petaluma, Perry L/M in San Luis Obispo.
