rear end leak

rear end leak
on my 2002 ford explorer (40,000) miles I noticed a leak from the rear end I wiped it clean and noticed after a couple days it is coming from one of the axle seals that go into the center section of the rear end is this a big job to fix?

Our 02' leaked there also three difeerent times.Had it to dealer under warranty first two times.My front pinion seal is now leaking.My inlaws have a 02' Mercury Mountaineer that did the same thing.Save your money for wheel bearings.They will go out too.I have about $1200 to the dealer and I did two myself.

Can't Wait... I just hit 70,000 miles, now I am waiting for the trans to fall apart. Fix Or Repair Daily !!!
(Next vehicle will be Japanese..)
.Had it flushed twice before 100k.Just at the shop where I will get the pinion leak fixed and they had an 02' on the rack rebuilding the tranny.
