Eaton M90 on 4.2 V6 F-150

Will the eaton m90 fit on my 2003 Ford F150 STX? If so, what will I have to upgrade so that my engine can handle that much power safely? How much power am I looking at? Do you recommend it? If not, why?

If it is a kit specifically for your 4.2 it should come with what you need.(bigger fuel pump,FMU/tuning.
If its not for your truck,,I wouldn't bother with it.

The m90 was the blower on the T-bird super coupe's. They used different heads than the 4.2, but the engine block is the same. The 4.2 is around 200-205 hp, and the 3.8 sc engine was 210-230. Not much of an upgrade, but would make more torque. Paxton made a kit for 3.8 mustangs that probably could be adapted with some modifications.

Squires makes a universal turbo kit for anything, and it mounts up after the cats. The good thing is that it doesn't clutter up your engine bay and they claim it still makes about 7-8 psi. I haven't tried it or talked to anyone that has, but would be willing to if I knew that it was worth while. Universal kits start out at like 2900 or so.

The SC Blower also put out close to 19lbs. on 94-95s. Supercoupe 3.8s also had alot of manufacturing differences too, such as stiffeners in the block, forged crank, rods and pistons among other things to make the engine survive the blower.

Many a V-6 mustang owner has put this setup on thier 3.8 'stang just to blow it up eventually. There is also the harness/sensor/computer issue also.

Sorry, I am not buying the 19psi unless it had the pulley changed out and other mods. Stock it came in at 10-12 psi (89-93), this info comes from the super coupe club of America site. I am not aware of any modifications made to the internals, but I do see the comp ratio was 8.2:1, which makes sense with forced induction.
