The holding tank was pumped out last fall Gerry.

Take a bunch of garden hoses, string them out, throw the hot water on, and shove the hose down the line.

Do you have a pump stack at the end of the line, or is it just the line??
The pump was burnt out and with a replacement now it seems like it`s a frozen under ground line. Rather than trying to thaw the entire 200 ft under ground line I`ll run a surface line making sure it drains so it doesn`t freeze. I did that once before one winter and it worked like a charm.
Aren't we due for an early spring soon?

You might be surprised where it is or isnt frozen Morris. If the line was properly dug, it should be under the frost line till the last 15ish feet, where it would slope upwards to either the stack, or the exit.

Theres pretty much no way you would ever have 200 feet of line frozen, unless it was very extremely poorly installed.

Surface lines work ok too, Ive had to install those for guys time to time. Most of the time the hose trick (or a steamer line) works way better, way faster, and alot less work.

Unfortunately I don`t have alot of faith in the way the line was installed so for now I`ll go the surface line route.
