I'm with Tammie on the tv being a waste of time. In summer I rarely turn it on other than for the news and only if I'm in the house at that time. I don't make it a point either. I enjoy the outdoors too much. But the last 2 1/2+ years since I started working evenings every other week, I find I just don't want to watch tv. And I sure don't miss it. I still enjoy the news but the other programs I used to watch on a regular basis (no not Soaps!) are not missed either.

I do like some shows on TV, but agree about 90% of the stuff they broadcast is pure crappolla.

Well, at least abit thinking comes into play abit when posting. Watching TV you simply sit there while being bombarded with mindless ads.........

Thats a good way to look at it.

I actually do view the net as less of a waste of time. My electronic book, is what I always tell the old lady haha.

When Im bored (which seems to be alot lately) I hop on the laptop and read about all kinds of things on the net. Tv can only teach you so much. (Like the car/truck shows on the weekend, they are actually pretty good)

Oh yeah there are definately some good shows out there still. One I like is american choppers. They really build some cool stuff, and I kinda like watching the hot heads on there!

Im also a ufc fan, been watching it ever since ufc1 first came out, I rented that on vhs haha.

Corner Gas is about the only show I try to watch, it`s the final year for it so that`ll mean the end of TV for me. We don`t bother with a big subscription that has any of the car show channels since I never bother with TV much any ways.
