I love driving across Canada, but I have to say, Quebec has the worst air quality due to chicken farms and skunks. They have the worst smelling of both.
Beautiful day here visiting Winnipeg. My waitress at dinner last night told me it was supposed to snow here today...lol
A few days ago we had a snow fall advisory but nothing happened....which is a real good thing!

For a couple reasons... The smell is one, the language barrier is another, and honestly, I've been coast to coast, and the snootiest people I've met have been in Quebec. I hope it was just the few individuals I encountered passing through, because if the entire province is as those few, may they seperate and rot in a heap
if you don't speak French they hate you, specially the cops
Funny you should say that. Our last trip I had a run in with a French officer in Quebec. We exchanged unpleasantries which ended with him threatening me with handcuffs and a citation. It all started with him tailgating me for at least 10kms, I'm doing 8-10kms over the speed limit, traffic is whizzing by us at +30 or more over. When traffic would slow down, he would move into the left lane and slowly creep along side us but never fully to my window, then fall back behind us. I am not a patient person, nor very tolerant. At this point I'm getting really pissed. I know nothing is wrong with my truck, I know I'm not breaking any laws at the moment, and I was fairly certain there weren't any warrants out for my arrest. Finally I got sick of it, braked hard and pulled off the road. Officer does the same thing, now with lights on. He didn't have a chance to ask for license/registration before I lit into him about being an ******* and harassing motorists unnecessarily That didn't go over well. In the end, he claimed that the color of the truck didn't match the serial # in his eyes. The truck was a 2008 F150 in Stone Green Metallic. He stated that it looked black to him and felt that it was a stolen vehicle. To which I replied, I'm not sure what your stinking province is like, but 90% of the places I've been don't have men with families stealing trucks and driving respectably across the country.
So Officer Pepe Le Pew, if you're still out there, I'll be driving a WHITE Ford F250 with a WHITE topper. I OWN it, and jail does not scare me!!!
I agree Sherm, they don't care for out of province tags ......... cops are dorks there for sure & yes they all drive 30 over....... to his defense the drug & crime situation is very bad there......

This is the exact reason we try to keep our trucks out of Queerbec. Stop by for a drink on your way home, and we'll talk about it. A year ago we had an oversize deck load out of Queerbec City, got stopped by the Police for not having the right beacons on the truck. (they were legal for the rest of the continent) Low and behold his bro-in-law had a shop that could outfit us with the proper equipment, cost us $1200.00 for a couple of mirror mounted strobes. Now if we have to go into Queerbec, we charge muchos denaro's. have safe and wonderfull trip.
