I came back from Germany the other day, I was there for 3weeks.
It seems like eveything over there comes with a Diesel option.
I rode in a few diesel they were so quiet I didnt know it untill they drove away and I saw the TDI on the back. hah
When I was getting a ride to the airport I saw a F-350 2wd Dually 6.0L driving the streets. If you have ever been to Germany or Eurpoe then you know that the streets are really tight. I think it was oman that I was going to have a good flight. [and I did]
I was also on NurburgRing for the MotoGP race and in the parking lot I saw a 2004 Dodge Cummins.
Also was able to take a ride in an SLK and was doing about 220KM down the autobahn then we drove through the Eifl. The Eifl is the region around Koln, Erftstadt, Hurth etc. mountain regions, you guys know the roads.
The Group
My driver, Frank
This is me. ^^
The strap got in the way.
This Audi was in the group with us. We did about 200KM when we passed it.
Im surprised that the photo turned out this good.
Just felt like sharing.
Sorry if parts of this dont really make sense. Im still getting over Jet lag and I find myself saying random German words in my sentances.
Way to go. DW and I are going over in Sept. Major exception is we're going on the Hi-speed trains. I'm a train nut. She indulges my passion. About all those diesels, remember that they don't have the smog requirements like we do, thus you don't see that many of their diesels over here.

they adopt a cap and trade system - They charge up the @$$ for diesel in return for the poor emissions they produce. In the states (here!) they just ruin the engines and destroy the fuel to make the engines more emissions friendly.
