Well I was out training my dog last night and on the way out, slid into a pond. The right half of the truck was submerged for about 3 hours and when I finally got it out it did not come out of 4 Lo. Tried again this morning and still stuck in 4 lo. any suggestions on what could be going on? have pics but still can't post them for some reason...
Since he never responded, I'm guessing he didn't put it in neutral before switching it back to 2h??
Yea Id imagine that would be it, always have to remember to completely stop, neutral, then switch it, if it doesnt still go, ever so slightly allow the truck to move. JUST SLIGHTLY. However, its pretty easy with a floor shifter, same concept, but I always know what its actually doing!
sorry for the delay guys. i just didn't put it in neutral and hold the brake when i switched it out. it was late and that was the first time i've had to use 4 Lo in a LONG time so i forgot how to get it out. made for a slow ride all the way back home haha. on another note....the truck that had to winch me out was a sweeeeeeeet f-550 wrecker with 22.5 in alcoa wheels and some massive pipes.
