blower stopped working

blower stopped working
Everything was fine until I cranked my truck today. Compressor works but no air blowing? Fuses appear intact. Do blowers go out that often. Never had it happen before. If so, is it hard to remove and check?

I just checked the power wire with a voltmeter and I'm getting 12 volts at the connectors-i assume it's a bad fan.
next question, how do you get it down and replace it? I can't remove the bolts near the back

not sure exactly but the blower usually bolts in with 3 bolts from the motor side into the ductwork. motor will either ohm out shorted, open, or have bad bearings. or maybe just debris stuck in the fan blade. is the motor hot? make sure your drain on the evaporator is flowing properly. water will short out the motor.

If you have power on both sides of the connection at the blower motor then it is not a blower motor problem. Ford switches the ground side of the system. Check the resistor and the switch.
