E4OD leak into parking brake?

Having a bit of a discussion on a RV forum. Some bloke is insisting that it is possible for the E4OD to have a rear leak and for that rear leak to leak into a parking brake unit. I say no way. He says his tranny shop said his parking brake was overfilled due to a tranny leak. What say you?

That's possible when the vehicle is equipped with a driveshaft park brake unit.

yup, definitely possible. Hardly anyone ever checks the oil in those break units. Once it fails and takes out the input seal the trans is free to spew it's fluid in it. Now you have to replace both
