I recently bought some of the "BIG SKY COUNTRY MONTANA" mudflaps that go onto the bumper. My only problem is I can't figure out how to securely mount the darn things. Anyone have any tips? Pics are appreciated too!
That's what I used, a long piece of angle iron, bolted it underneath the flat area of the step bumper at the trailer ball/license plate area as far apart as I could get the bolts. Then of course the mats where bolted out at the ends.
The angle just cleared the frame mounted reese type hitch trailer hitch, if yours has less clearance or you use huge angle stock you could always notch it for that.

THANK YOU!! do you have pics by chance? I ot kinda an idea, but not totally.
Sorry no, the stock bumper has been swapped years ago for a rear show plow blade mount/bumper combined all in one unit.
The mud flaps are on it to this day but the angle iron the flaps are on was simply bolted to the bottom lip of the channel iron the bumper it self is made of.
