The FM50 SUV has more capacity and anti drone chambers. The chambers will cancel out any drone and some harsher noises. Generally larger capacity mufflers are recommended for towing, heavy loads and large engines. The capacity helps maintain a constant sound output and not get too loud.
The delta flow will work fine. As for the warrenty it only cover defects in workmanship. Your flowmaster will likely rust through before you have any other issues with it. You can help the muffler last a little longer by brushing off the old rust a paint from time to time and painting it with some ceramic header paint.
How long the muffler lasts will depend on location and driving habits. Trip Duration) There were guys on here that had FM70 and FM50 mufflers only last them 3 winters. One guy was from Mass the other guy was from UP Mich. I expect my FM to last more than 5 years. A warrenty is something I'm rarely concerned about. Try to collect on a warrenty from some companies and they will tell you to go pound sand even if the part meets their warrenty requirements.
My only thought on warranty was that it would somehow fail because it wasnt listed for my vehicle and then would not be covered.
At any rate I put the thing on and it worked out really nice. If you want a little aggressive sound that wont be a bother on highway trips and the like this thing fits the bill. Some nice sound on acceleration without any drone. However if you want some monster truck aggro sound this isnt the ticket!
