1970 a/c brackets

Post 1970 a/c brackets

I bought a 70 f-100 w/an under dash a/c unit in it but the previous owner removed they brackets that attach to the block.I have all of them but cannot figure out where they attach to the block......any help would be greatly appreciated I live in Ca and its been in the 100's here for some time and a/c would be nice ThanksJP

1970 a/c brackets

On FE engines the compressor support bracket bolts to the head with two studs. The lower stud also mounts the PS pump. On some the idler pulley mounts to the compressor on others it mounts to the bottom of the compressor support bracket.
