LMAO I knew there was something not right there!!!! got the rims mounted on three ofr the tires between other family things. Only problem I'm having is the fact that I can't get the rim to seal on both sides of the tire to air it up and seat the bead! No matter what I try the beads of the tires are too narrow to touch both sides of the rim at the same time! I've got a couple of ideas, and will try on the last one tomorrow, if it works, I'll demount the other 3, and redo them.
Some times using a small chain wrapped around the outside of the tire works when you twist it with a bar to make the tire bulge out closer to the rim. It depends on how far the sidewalls are from the rim and how stiff the sidewalls are though....
It can be very frustrating especially with a Bobcat tire that doesn`t have hardly any give on the sidewalls so an air blaster tank is usually needed to seat these tires. For these I go to a tire shop.
Things that go boom, and me....not a good idea!!! I can just see the tire flying one way, the wheel the other, and me there standing where my garage USED to be!!!
Someone mentioned the cut fenders, the pics explain why, no lift on the truck. Besides, I had crumpled one bedside bottom on a rock, and bent the rear bumper.
