Yes, I just installed this on a 54 frame with a 9in axle..

see my gallery for some pics.. I had the spring hangers on backwards originally, the flat edge goes to the front and back of the chassis respectively (front to the front, back to the back).

the shock bracket was the biggest trouble, cause of the size of the hole and drilling thru the chassis top to bottom

It seems like a good price for everything that comes with it. Free shipping! I'm wondering if this kit eliminates the pins and shackles like the original have. Is this kit like the new type leaf suspension where a standard bolt and nut are used to mount the spring ends?

yes, it is a nice clean kit, bolts & nuts to hang the springs (in fact that bolt kit was missing, and I went to home depot to get some temps to mount it all til the package arrived..

there was a topic thread cause of the unclear directions on which way the hangers mounted.. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/3...a-53-f100.html
I 'thought', and didn't see the one word on the page.

I bought this with the MII front end and the front end sway bar.

I think the total was $2244 in October. no additional shipping. $450 for the rear spring kit.

we don't have any actual weight on it yet, but TCI has such a good name, its unlikely to be a problem

I used this kit it was a very nice setup however, the directions were very porly written. I'm using the explorer rear end so I used the explorer shock brackets & axle bolts. It lowers the truck enough without having to C-notch however, I did purchase the C-notch kit from Midfifty. I have a few pictures in my gallery.

sdetweil, I'll definately be picking your brain in a while here since I will also be running a 460 with a Mopar front clip, and possibly doing a serpentine drive like you have.

No problem.. I built my own headers (not cheaper than sanderson, just long tube). I also designed my own serpentine, cause I wanted one belt, not 2, and wanted to spend the $800 for March pulleys.

my crankshaft and waterpump pulleys are from a 87-93 mustang, the waterpump pulley has holes redrilled for the 460 waterpump holes and a spacer to align it with the crank pulley. I ended up using the March alternator bracket. from there its custom made..

to make the materpump turn in the right direction you have to accept that the ribbed belt will be on a non-ribbed pulley (or get one custom made, which I am thinking of).. and you will need at least 1 idler pulley to get enough belt coverage at the water pump.
