Heater doesn't work
I have a 2000 F150XLT with 32K mileage, AC works fine here in Arizona, but when I tried to put the heat on last week during the cold weather no heat cam out. I turned the rotary dial to the red area and set the selector to the Red zone and the other dial to Floor, etc but I couldn't get any heat, nothing but cold air.
I assume that my Ford Truck does have a Heater because of the Red
area on the Temperature selection control and the Defrost setting.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hmmm. If you get cold air and not hot air, i'm thinking your heater core is either clogged or not connected. Take a peek under the hood. Heater core is on the passenger side in the firewall. You should see two hoses going to it. The hoses come from around the radiator. On my 1990 F150 one of the hoses come from the upper radiator hose connection to the block. I forget where the other one goes. 32,000 miles is not a lot so the heater core is plobably not clogged. I hope this helps ya.

Some of the newer Ford vehicles have a electrically controlled blend door that controls the amount of heat. These have been known to fail. I am not sure if your year truck has this.
