It is easier to ask forgiveness than to get permission from the wife. Of course, when ever I've done that it costs me double with the cost of new stuff for the house, jewelry, clothing etc.
In the past whenever I got a project she went to the jewelry store and came home with a new bauble. Unfortunately, I'm now behind because I haven't gotten an projects for several years, but she still has the bad habit of going to the jewelry store. Trouble is, I can't afford to catch up. LOL
so the wife told me she hates both of my old trucks, the 77 & 79 and wants them gone.. haha.. i said fine, i will sell them and get a new Harley then!
anyone want to buy both my trucks in a package deal? (will show her)
I tried that route with my wife... "I hate those old pickups that always need something fixed on them". So, I brought home a 2004 Fatboy. That didn't go over very well either... "your're going to get killed and leave me a widow with two kids to raise alone" and "I can't believe you paid that much for a motorcycle" and "where are you and that stupid bike club off to now?"
You just can't win, so you have to decide which "toy" you want most and can deal with being nagged daily about!
That's my marriage advice for the day... (the fine print: I am not a licensed marriage counselor, advice provided by me is only a suggestion, I am not responsible if you have to sleep on the couch)
