Bumper Brackets
Looking for bumper brackets for a 82 F-100. I put a 3" lift on the truck and would like to get the bumper back where it is supposed to go. Any one know of a company who sells lifting brackets for the F-100. Thanks

Nobody that I know of makes lifted bumper brackets. Because of the way the front bumper wraps around the frame horns, there is no way to move the bumper up. You'll have to fab up something yourself.
Body lifts are lame IMO, just for this reason alone.
Nothing looks worse than a body lift without the bumpers lining back up.

I never thought about it before, but I bet no one makes the brackets, because it would pretty much ruin the function of the bumper, and it would be on there just for looks. Hit anything and it will just fold up into the grille, since it will now be higher than the frame.
