Exclamation $$$...gas...$$$

Sorry about the gas prices everyone. The high prices are totally my fault.

I always wanted an F-250. Things were going well in life so, (with the wife's approval).... it was time I got my dream ride.

I bought my new V-10 SD 3 years ago and the gas prices went crazy, not long after that....

That's just the way things go for me... and I wanted to say ""I'm sorry""

My 05 just turned 6,000 miles this week. I walk past it every day on my way out to get in my Ford Taurus, stopping only long enough to pull off an occasional spider web that formed on my "chrome plated, stainless steel Nerf bars" that I put on it, just after I bought it.

I don't know what to do. I'll put $20. in the tank now & then just to take it to the gym or grab some groceries... (Yea, it's turned into a "Grocery Getter"...)

Check out my pics if you wanna see the lonely BEAST that lives in my garage...

Think you're feeling bad now.... Wait til gas is $5 a gallon. If you have a long bed and an almost 40 gallon tank it will cost $200 for a full fill-up!!!

i hear ya man, i've had mine for 4 years now (only 67K on the clock). i use it for our weekend outings, pulling the atv's to the woods, and about 2x a month i take it to work to keep the soot cleaned out of it, lol!!

i've got in the habit of filling our vehicles up at 1/2 tank (30 gal in the F250) so it don't sting quite as bad. i drive like i'm 70 years old (55mph) and i don't get in a hurry........i role all 4 big azz windows down, set the Zune, and cruze, no rush!

So YOU are the guy to blame!

I don't know, I just dropped the tank on mine, to replace a $20 fuel pump retainer ring that broke...

Pulled out 12 gallons of gas - when the gauge was registering below 1/4 tank, with a 29 gallon tank.

Seems I've got more gas in there than I thought I did

I'm glad somebody has stepped up to the plate. I know my truck only takes $75 to fill up every time. Seems like the pump knows that is all my truck needs?? I have noticed that my fuel gauge does not read full all the time now???? It must be broken??????
Probably this summer it will show even less fuel in there. I guess i better get the fuel gauge fixed pronto. : 0

$187 to fill at 1.44/L $5.45/us gal [Plenty of tax with surely more to come]

If you need a "Truck" and your already invested in one pound for pound SD rule.

We may not have an SS camaro or GT 500 mustang but our trucks are unique and that makes um fun to own and they get s#%t done.

So it's not my fault???? Since I took delivery of mine at the end of Oct last year it seems that gas has only went up. Worse yet it is catching up with diesel here. Less than $.50 difference.

Since mine is my only rig, and now has 12k miles would any of you fellas that don't drive so much want to trade fuel bills?

I bought mine one year ago this month. Since then gas prices have gone up two dollars PER GALLON (just about).

I upgraded from a standard cab 4x2 Work Truck F-150. I wanted something that had a bigger cab, 4x4, and could tow a camper. I loved this truck and so did the gf.

When I bought it, the truck had a steering issue (I didn't know that until AFTER I bought it). $2k later, my truck steers much better, but now it's not worth anything.

I can't afford to sell my truck. It's not that I hate my truck, I just hate what it costs to fill it up. I knew when I bought it it was a wall. My truck seems to get 13-14mpg if it's empty or towing my camper (5,500 lbs). My truck gets the same mpg as a new 4x4 F150.

I love having a truck!
But I hate filling it up.

Going from a $55 dollar a week fill up to a $95-$100 per week is a bit much. When gas hits $5 a gallon, I'll be forced to sell it.

Wow, beer seems to make me write a lot..............

Uh-oh... Gas prices are driving this guy to drinking... lol

I hear ya guys. I bought my truck just about a year and 3 months ago. Things were perfectly fine as long as the price stayed around $3.25-$3.50. But that didn't last long and up shot the prices. I'm not struggling yet but for once in my life I'm restricting my activities.

How do you get cheaper than Natty Lite?

We parked the X, to my wife's disdain, now she has to drive our Towncar(which, according to her, isn't big enough, which is why we have an X. Does that make sense?). However, that was the plan going in, it was for camper pullling and a few roadtrips here and there.

I apologize if nothing above made sense....I'm at work.
