simple question

I have a 96 f150 with stock rims but the tires arnt the stock size i still have the same tires from when i bought the truck 4 years ago but just recently became aware of the fact that im 8 miles under the speedometer and i was just woundering what the original size tires for my truck are?

The original size should be printed on the sticker of the driver door pillar.

Stock size is MOST LIKELY 235/75-15. Checking the door pillar, or owners manual should tell ya for sure though.

thxs guys appreciate it not to good at fixing my truck and stuff just kinda learning as i go so its aprecative lol ooh and my spelling is horrid so sorry

Don't forget that you can also buy a different gear for the speedo connection in the transmission to adjust for the mileage being off. Much better and cheaper than new wheels and tires.

The 96 uses a programable speedometer odometer module(PSOM). It gets its speed info from the RABS in the rear differential. You can reprogram your speedo to the correct tire size.
