I have a 94 f150 extended cab. I want to put some "seprates" in the front doors. Has anyone seen a good place to locate the tweeters? I'll put the midwoofer in the factory door location but I want a good place to put the tweeters. Does anyone make a replacement panel that runs from the dash to the roof with a built in location for tweeters for this truck like you see on some of the newer cars.

Also, to replace the rear 4x6 speakers, can you access them through the grill covers, or does the entire rear paneling need to be removed?

thanks

K here,s what yha got. the tweeters find a pair sized 1\2 their clear, and loud.the clearest ones at a good price are power acustic.I don't think they make the dash to roof panals like that, but check out Coloraldo customs they have stuff like that.As for the 4 by 6 more than likly the whole panals come off.I hope this helps.Good luck.

For the best imaging you would want to keep the seperate tweeter close to the midbass in the stock door location. Look closly at your door panel. If you want a good looking installation, you can take a hole saw and cut through your door panel, make sure you have enough room behind the door panel location first. Then find a tweeter that has a small ring around the edge to cover any small scratches left on the panel. The most important thing is to not cut through any wires, harnesses behind the door panel.

Good Luck
