Bigger Tires

Right now I have the stock tires and rims. 235/75/r16. What does this come out to be in measurements?

What I would like to do is keep the same rims I have (stock) and get a bigger tire to put on the rim, My question is what is the tallest and widest tire I can fit on the stock rim?

I wouldn't go bigger than a 265/75 on a 6" wide rim. They are about 31" tall.

I run 285/70's on 16 X 7 van wheels. They are about 33" tall.

I bought a 1990 F-250 for parts that had 305/75R16's on the stock wheels. It looked good. My friend put them on his 86 F-250 4x4 and they fit ok, but rubbed a little bit.
