Loose steering column, 2WD
My truck is about 8 months old now and i am very happy with it. However, after searching for several weeks for what sounded like a loose front suspension component i think the problem is the steering column. The column is a 2 piece unit and seems to be really loose and flimsy right in the middle where it joins together. You can grab the column and move it side to side at least an inch or so. Does anyone else have this problem or is this normal play? The dealer seems to think there is nothing wrong but it goes without saying i do not trust their opinion on this one.
