adding clearance lights
My dad has a 2002 F-250 and wants to add the roof clearance lights. I have a 1999 and he really likes the look of mine. Has anyone tried this? Any input would be helpful!

One thing, does his truck have the overhead console with the computer in it or not? If you get a lighting kit, even the dealer sells them relatively cheap, you should try and get the right hook up. If he has the console and you get the one for trucks without the console, you will have to splice the lights in. It's no biggie, but something to think about. You can check my tech gallery out. i just did mine a few months ago and I have pics of the install there.

pull the headliner down, it isnt very hard but the roof is only one layer thick and you will drill right through the head liner, and this way you only have to drill small holes just big enough for the wires to stick through, you can make all your connections inside the cab.
