Early build 03 - parking sensor
I have an early build 03 EB, which has the 2 parking sensors in the bumper and I think a single radar unit in the bumper in the middle. Lately the system says "Check parking aid" in the information center, sometines it does'nt say that and it shows that its working but when I put my hand in the back only the two end sensors actually cause an alarm. So it seems the radar unit is dead. My question is I like the system but when I search online the only place I can find the part is ford dealers and the cheapest I have seen it is $ 272, Are there any other places to get this sensor that anyone knows of?
