Does anyone know where I can find a vacuum diagram for an 87 f150 w/ a 5.0. There is a diagram under the hood but I dont know what all the abbreviations mean.
Get a Haynes or Chiltons manual for 15 bucks at Orielys, Advance, Autozone etc. There are a few users on here that have this information handy, so maybe they will post it for you.
K, heres what everything is hooked up to on the 87:
-First, you have the manifold vacuum fitting, I think its abbreviated MAN VAC or something.
-Off of that you have hoses that go to the following:
-speed control(blk/brn)
-pressure sensor (red)
-air cleaner, distributor, and solenoids of some sort I think (red)
-brake booster (this one is obvious)
-Then theres a tube that goes to a splitter (black) which branches out into the auto trans (if you have one) and all of the HVAC stuff.
That help, or are you looking for something more specific?
