Dam I would kill to have head studs installed into the 04 X but my wish might be coming true soon. I keeping having to add colorant every week and I think that is a sign on the head gaskets right?
Hmmm....take the entire body off the chassis to install cyl. head bolts ? Hmmm...come to think of it...if my vehicle didn't have head bolts, I guess I'd want to install them too. O.K..so now I understand. He took the body off to install cyl. head bolts. Excellent. Glad we cleared that up...
Now..I dont suppose one of you guys would help me out and explain how he was previously driving around without cyl. head bolts... ? ?
. . . head bolts . .. . Holds the engine together better and allows for a much higher RPM on the drag strip. . . . )
thank you for clearing this up - I agree. If I were going to the drags, I most certainly WOULD install cyl. head bolts and thus be able to bolt my cylinder heads on. I guess I should check out my EX to see if IT has bolts holding the cylinder heads on. Wonder if I should call Ford and make a warranty claim ?....
( gawd...anyone reading this "thread" is going to use our "posts" to PROVE we are all blondes.....! )
