Putting new tires on the truck on Tues.....thinking of doing front coils and shocks since the front feels a little "bouncy" over bumps.....Bilsteins are the givin for shocks.....Is there anything besides the stock coil that anyone is running?Brand and part # are a bonus if you are running something different.
You can also go to Napa or like Carquest they offer stock and heavy duty coils. I've used the heavy duty cargo coils in the past on several trucks and have been very happy with them. Firms up the ride but the trucks rode better.
Thanks guys...I like the idea of the heavy duty over stock....I am going to be in touch with the local NAPA and see if they can get them in by Tues for me.
yea Ron ... we got the same type truck ... Mine is sagging in the front a lot compared to the rear. I like mine to site more level. I got to rebuild my whole front end cuz the bushings are shot too, tie rods, ect...

Good luck
Yeah....I have 320 plus k on it.....radius arm bushings need to be replaced pretty soon also, but everything else has been done. My rear is still really stout...p/o's heaviest load was a 10 ft enclosed so they were never worked.I may go with the lifted ones since they are not that much more. But I got a heluva deal on tires(235/85)....so not sure how the little skinnies will look with the truck raised up a little.
BTW....400. for 4 yokohama geolander a/t plus II's load E installed......discontinued model so they are offing them cheap.I snatched up the last ones they had in town here
