shouldnt be. do you have gauges? you'll definately want a pyro gauge, and a boost would be helpful too. you might run a little hot, but you should be fine.

No problems. I tow a 5th wheel camper that weighs more than that and I have about that same truck. Mine is an extra cab not a CC but you should have no problems. Is the truck stock?
I would just do a good tune up, oil change/filter and air filter, check tire pressures in truck and trailer.

Ditto, 12,000 pounds, not a problem. Just make sure your brakes are adjusted good and take it easy on the long tall hills.

Your truck will pull the load with no problem and as long as your truck and trailer brakes are good you shouldn't have any problems stopping it . Having the 5 speed will be an advantage on the downgrades. Have you ever pulled that trailer with your truck before? Short bed trucks and 5ers dont always go together well. It all depends where the kingpin is in relation to the front of the trailer. If the is a lot of trailer in front of the pin you might have clearance problems between the rear corners of the cab and the front of the trailer. Halfway between Tucson and Peurto Vallarta is not the best place to find out you cant make the turns.

I have not pulled this trailer before but this truck has the rails in the bed and i have the hitch that goes with it. the guy I bought it from had pulled a 5th. The truck is sound and new cluch, flywheel 1,000 miles ago. I pulled a 31ft airstream through navada and no biggie.

My 5er is heavier then that and I don't have a problem at all. I was going to get a one ton when I got the new 5er a year ago but instead got some firestone air shocks instead. Besides, I didn't want to do all the mods over again. You will do fine!

Flea the only thing going against you is the 3.55 gears but take it easy and you will be fine.

About the cab and trailer clearance issue. I have a SB truck and alot of camper forward of the kingpin. I can't jack knfe it but I can put it anywhere I want to. The only time I run into problems is backing when I put it in a tight place. Then it just takes a few more back and forth movements.

I know that there are special hitches that move automaticaly in that cases for SB, but I also know they are very expensive $$$$$$$$$$$.
