Joel, The bad news is that you are temporarily shut down. The good news is that it is temporary! Sandblasting can wait. Glad that you got to good medical care.
Glad your alright and everything worked out. what you should do is grab a comfy lawn chair and get a neighbor kid to come over and do the sandblasting for you while you watch! from a distance of course.
Take care
Josh

OK, It's like this - Heal or Die - Your Choice.
Several years back I had a double Bypass, I faced the same choice, much to the dismay of a lot of people I chose to live. I can live with that choice.
Joel - sorry to hear about that! I had the same thing, the day after the Colts won the Superbowl - 45 minutes away, one stent. Happened Monday morning, was back at work Thursday, and have never looked back. Meds every day, and a change in lifestyle (still can't give up the cigs, go figure!!!!!!). The truck is good therapy, but I DO slow down a bit, when I'm feeling "tired" as I'm working on it. Good luck with it!!!
Joel, Sorry to hear of the setback, real glad to hear you made it!
The truck can wait...I like Josh's idea..get the kid down the street to do the blasting , while you sip a cool iced -tea..up-wind of course!
Just a temporary set back though..take some time to get stronger,
Life's not worth giving -up, even for an old truck! Take cre and take it easy...........
Look at it this way the truck is almost 60 and it will wait a little longer to get a face lift. Don't kill yourself trying to rush back to work on it, the old girl will be there waiting for you to get better.
Hey man, take it easy. At least you're close to Duluth, they have two great hospitals there (my mother works at SMDC, so I'm a bit biased).
I'm doing the same thing (playing with a model) with a Revell '56 Ford... since I don't have the real one here yet but I should be going down to get it in August or Sept. Pretty cool though... I got a closet full of models to pull parts from, so I'm putting a torsion bar front suspension from a '68 Charger model, just like the real truck that's getting torsion bars. Found an engine from a '67 GT500, as well as some deep dish wheels to put the stock Ford hubcaps on....
Come to think of it, if you need any parts to put on your model when it comes, I think I have a Hemi, a few sets of Crager wheels, etc. I can stick in an envelope if you'd like. Just get back to me with any needs. Just relax!
Joel, Take it easy and recover. I like the idea about the neighbor kid. When he is done with yours send him down to FL. Now is also a good chance to cruise the web looking at paint schemes. Then come back strong with 50 belly dancers.
well since were talking paint i'm thinking a deep rasberry or bugrgandy metallic body gun metal gray fenders and running boards i got eastwoods new ceramic paint and if it looks good on the frame i,m going to use it on the cowl and inner fenders and i reall wish i had a neibor kid the lawn needs mowing really bad to and that i just dont wanna do and my wifes a rn and i snezz ma **** off when i mow and dave i was in st marys the doc here said i was too young for heart problems and thay rushed me there were the surgy team was waiting when i got there the nurses were awsome and really nice
