interchanging transmissions??
I know this is a truck site so I apologize in advanced for asking a car question. Will the transmission from a 89 merc marquis swap into the same year mustang? Also will the gear ratio be different?

Both 5.0 motors, the trans an AOD? Yes.
Get the tape measure out and double check before you get out the wrenches...
