HVAC question again
Why is it that if I turn my fan control from "Off" to "Max A/C", it always starts out blowing out of the defroster, then over the course of 20-30 seconds or so it slowly blows more and more out of the vents until the defroster shuts off and it all comes out of the vents?

Look at the white vac line in the engine compartment to see if it's toast. You are losing vacuum somewhere and that is the most likely place to start. I have owned quite a few Ford pickups and EVERY one had that line disintegrate and several had the same problem you describe, until it was repaired.
