Road trip

Howdy there guys. Long time no see.

The family, being Bulldog, myself, and our mother, are taking a road trip to to Austin. Round Rock specifically to visit the Lone Star Bakery and get us some Round Rock donuts. We'll being leaving tomorrow(Tuesday) most likely. I was wondering if some people more familiar with the area, such as our coveted fearless leader Clif , could point out some of the finer things to do in the area.

Any pointers would be lovely.

Thanks guys.

Just got back from Austin. We got some Round Rock donuts, plus other goodies. Then toured Main St for a lil bit. We went to the Inner Space caverns there in Georgetown. Then, on the way back, we stopped in at T3 Truck & Trailer in Brenham and then Truck Tuff near Prarie View so that Bulldog could eyeball some aftermarket bumpers before sliding back into Houston.

Bulldog ran the numbers and rolled about 14.5 mpg running the hybrid race file from Spartan Diesel in his '06 6.0

We also caught some good skip on the CB, hearin people in Kentucky, Missouri, Indiana and Virginia. Not bad considering he's running a 102" whip, which stands about 13' 10" from the stake hole on his truck.
