1967 EFI Project

I am in the middle of completely switching my 1967 F-250 to the frame and running gear from a 1988 F-150. We have pretty much finished all of the fabrication to get the body on the newer frame, now I am working on getting everything hooked up. I am using the 351W EFI that was in the 1988 and I have heard that there is a way to set up the ECU to only run the EFI system does anyone know anything about that? I would like to eliminate as much of the crap as possible but I want the fuel injection. If I can't just run the EFI what can be eliminated?
Thank you.

Welcome to FTE!

I would get yourself a Haynes or Chilton book(that has the complete wiring diagrams in it) and start with that. I would bet that the "motor" and "body" harnesses are separate enough that you could leave the body off and not cause any issues?

I suppose the check engine light might be a good one to hook up again?
