Help!..Brakes.
I have been dealing with brake problem for too long. Does anyone know which port is rear and front? have aftermarket booster/m-c, under floor, 2# r-valve front, 10# r-valve rear hopefully! is closet port to booster for front or rear? Is it simply same as firewall and put in backwards under floor, or are the ports designed for under floor? using combo valve, rear port to the rear of vehicle, should lines come straight across from m/c? Booster is in front of m/c...obviously. Driving myself crazy. brakes are all I need to start driving '51 Ford f1. Thanks, slightly frustrated.

It used to be that when the master cylinder was mounted on the firewall that rear line went to the front wheels and front line to the rear wheels, so if under the flour (and backwards) then yep the rear line would be to the rear. Where I’m confused is you have a front 2 # and rear 10 # residual check valve as you should, you also say that you are using combo valve (stock type?), this also contains a rear brake residual check valve and so I wonder if two might be a problem? Oh, what is the problem you are having, no pedal?

2...no to 10# problem, they are not cumulative so even if combo has one built in, a second in line won't affect anything.
3...adjusted pedal up some on rod, helped. done so many things over last 6 months, forget exactly the order. Wasn't getting fluid movement to activate the light switch. low pedal. Time to reattack with fresh perspective. checked m'c- is good. not sure if I have enough vacuum for the booster. several possibilities. process of deduction has begun. Patience is needed, I going through it slowly. thanks for the reply. Too many variables.
