I don't think it would roll the coal out of it, but I'm not an expert. Did you mod the programing any for the stage 1's? Stock mine will put some out, esp at shifts.

I agree with 79. Your gonna see any anything unless you increase the fuel. The stage 1's have stock nozzles.

I would think that with stage 1's and a 17* HPOP and the higher fuel pressure that you would get a pretty decent amount of smoke, not like blacking out the road but enough that you could see out the mirror.

True, but the computer is not telling it give any more fuel. Added smoke would be minimal at best without some programming.

Ya i guess that would be right. I was just thinkin that the fuel pressure would be a bit higher with the shim, but if the computers not tellin it to get more then it wouldnt.
Farm hows that HX50 comin? (sorry for the hijack)

Well Fox, my schedule is not looknig to best to get this project completed. The whole month of July looks out of the question unless I can squeeze it in over the fourth. Otherwise It's gonna be august when I take a couple days off to do it.

Farm, well when you do get around to it, seems to me like your going to have quite the toy on your hands. Good luck with it.

Nope! Not until you get a chip that calls for the addition pulse width. My avatar pic is a few years old but at the time I had BDP stage I's, a 17* pump and Tony's programming.

Mule, how and why do you have such a large spring pack in the front of your truck? I looks like a rear pack just up front.

I would think that you could see some with your mods, especially with the 140V idm. that makes the same pulse width open and close faster.
combined with a higher pressure oil from the bigger pump, and a slightly easier push on the injector (difference in intensifier piston ratio= lower pressure higher volume. )

That's a Tough Country 4" lift for an F250, when I swapped in the D60 I removed 2 leafs and it still has 5 left.
