When I was doing construction a few years back, we stayed in this 20 room motel in south west vermont....$25 a nite <discount for 3 rooms, 4 nites a week for 8 weeks>
nice and quiet, with new bedding...thats all I needed then!
Okay, the Boss has laid down the law. We will head out for Flag on Saturday morning (7/26) and will get a hotel room for Saturday night. Hey Travis, which is the closest to you and if it were you, which one would you stay in?

Well........I live out in the country sorta, so none of them are right down the street from me, but they are only like 9-10 miles away. I have never seen the inside of ANY of the hotels here, never had a reason to lol......but train noise is a factor on the East side, a couple of crossings are near a cluster of hotels. I think the Travelodge on E. Route 66 is in the $60 a night range, and they are inbetween crossings, so the train noise isn't quite as bad there. There are cheaper ones then that I think.......but you're gambling with the cheapiez
What about a AAA discount somewhere? Does anyone have a card that is staying the night in Flag? I have alot more years before I even think about AARP LOL
I won't steer you guys wrong! $69 bucks plus tax! And this is the one that won't get "quite as much" train noise as some of the others.......trust me, it's an issue with people that aren't used to it
