Skip CKOM cruise night but Do Not miss the Super Run, it`s the best and it`s only here once every three years.......
The best part of Cruise weekend is the Sat nite 8th Street cruise.
I guess we better start making plans for cruise night though, I wonder if laynrubber will get another campsite again this year?
I guess my truck to show this year will be the 58 International last year it was a Ford so this year I'm back to the lighter side of the darkside.
Being from Manitoba I'm not sure how many of you guys from Saskatchewan are aware of a tremendous car club...known as the Fabulous '50's Ford Club of Manitoba.
I'm not a member of this club, but I can tell you it's a very active club with tremendous cars. If you hit the link and thben hit Events...scroll down to Sept. 7th . This car show has een going on for years at this location in Winnipeg and believe me, it is a phenomenal event. Not just fab Fords from the fifties...but all makes....you name it, it's there.
If you're in Winnipeg on this date, make sure to take it in. All car nuts would love it.
Check out the rest of the Fab '50's Ford Club website. The cars, the tech help...it's really something else.
I checked it out Les, this looks great club. Too bad it`s so far away.
Morris,
I don't belong to it, but it's a great club. The members seem to have tremendous energy and IMO, their Sept. car show, along with the Down-Town Cruz that takes place in Winnipeg in the summer are the two best shows in Winnipeg.
I've never seen so many old Merc's, Fords, Edsels as I do at their Sept. car show. The neat thing is they also invite those with all makes of cars, so you see everything.
This sounds like another great club in Saskatoon, the Saskatoon Antique Auto club.
I don`t belong but I tag along to their spring garage tours, always a great time visiting some really neat shops and vehicles, usually afew Model A`s and lots of Fords of all years into the 50-60`s. There are all makes are in this club.
Afterwards they have pizza, pop or beer for sale and a nice end to the evening.
