Cummins Conversion, Best Motor?

The only reason people recommend a 12 valve is for racing. You gotta be stupid (or just a plain dodge guy) to want a 12v for the street. The majority of us putting a cummins in a daily driver arent going to make it a hardcore racing truck, thats why 90% of the daily drivers are common rails.

No I have no plans of hardcore racing the truck , I depend on the truck for 650+ mile trips each way every week. I'm looking for a motor that provides more Hp than the 7.3, and good fuel mileage with all the driving. And heavy towing is a must!
I think I'll be hunting up the CR. Sounds like the more suitable engine for what I'm lookin for. Thanks!
