Adding Speakers

OK, how many of you have ever added some extra speakers to the stock truck radio? Mine only has the speakers in the door right now. I was thinking of adding one of those boxes behind the seat to help boost the sound in the cab.

If anyone has done this, please let me know how it worked out.

TIA

Adding Speakers

On my 88 150 I only had the two in the door. What I did was got a 4 speakers wiring harness for the truck and radio and automatically had two extra speakers cables. I added two Pioneer 6x9 behind the seat and it works great. Looking to add a CD radio and amp soon. But just the change in wiring harness can help for an upgrade.

Adding Speakers

well i started out with just wanting a cd player in my 88 150. it soon went to two boxes behind the seat powered by the cd player. when that became not enough, i bought a smaller 2 channel amp to power the two boxes. i soon bridged the amp and ran one box on the one channel. it bcomes an obssesion.
