If I remove the muffler on my 250? I have the MBPR 4" turbo back on it now but would like to hear a little more from the exhaust. I really want stacks but can't put the money out right now.
Nah it should be fine. I did the same thing to my F250 except with 5" straight pipe which is even a little louder and its not bad at all. Should sound pretty sweet. Its actually very tame until you get on it. The only thing you might not like is that there is quite a bit of drone at highway speeds.
I pulled the muffler off mine over a year ago and it's not too loud at all. Sounds sweet!. You do get more drone at highway speeds but nothing the radio won't drown out

I'm figuring on not putting a muffler on when I go the the 4" (probably MBRP). Trying to buy the system without the muffler to begin with so I don't have a muffler laying around. My 18 yo son complained when I told him because I made him put mufflers on his truck ('77 F250 w/460, bought w/o mufflers). Aside from his youth being "ticket bait", I explained that between the IC and the turbo, it already has a muffler effect.

I notice no drone at all, but I will admit to being pretty hard of hearing. I really like the sound of mine and so does everyone else. Never has a cop given me a second glance, other than that one seat belt ticket I got this spring.
I took mine off a while back wish i would have done it sooner like the day after i bought it i got a piece of 4in pipe from car quest i think it was around 7 dollars a foot
