need to stop!

in february this year, i had hawk pads installed all around, as well as drilled rotors on all 4 wheels. they are better than stock, but still leave something to be desired. will bleeding the brake system and using dot 4 make any difference, or would i be wasting my time.

Well if the fluid is bad, you should change it anyhow, but it won't improve the braking. It's a 6K pound go kart, they don't brake too well.

i dont know if the fluid is "bad", but i'm sure it's original, and i have a little over 105k miles.

I would change it. One of the most overlooked maintenance items. Just be sure to bleed it well.
