I want to first say THANKS to all who take the time to post and help others resolve "challenges and opportunities" with their vehicles. Since taking a vehicle into a dealership these days for diagnosis and service is a VERY EXPENSIVE proposition, finding a site with tips and things to check, even if you choose not to do any repair work yourself, is a substantial money saver. And who can't stand to save some coins with $4 a gallon gas!

I drive a 2002 F-150 XLT Supercab with about 135000 miles, and the Chief Executive Officer has a 2000 Explorer Limited with about 115000 miles. We've had very good luck with both vehicles, but the Explorer is starting to show its age. I'm sure I'll be looking for diagnostic help.

Thanks again, everyone.

Don
